Little Things That Make You Smile

Today was a great day! Well great if your looking for little things that make you smile. I think it was around noon when my sister stopped in and I was still running around in my pajamas. It required some effort to get me moving but eventually I ventured out.

The first thing I noticed was an elderly couple on the sidewalk. The woman had stopped to rest on the seat of her walker looking exhausted. As I got closer the gentleman with her began to push her, it was obviously unexpected by her. The wonder of it all was how the look of exhaustion turned to surprise and then quickly changed to delight and a beautiful smile.

A few blocks away two children were laying in the grass, very peacfully tickling each other with great big long pieces of grass.

Came home and my son was ready to go to the beach for a burning ceremony. Not much ceremony to it just a strong desire to burn his old school work. It was good thereputic fun though.

Tonight, just for fun we set up a Drive-In Movie in our driveway. I'm doing a presentation tomorrow and had the equipment at home so thought why not? People walking by seemed to find it quite amusing. We've decided we will do it again in earnest later in the summer.
