Generosity - the trait of being willing to give your money or time acting generously

I was surprised on looking up the definition of generosity that there really isn't much to it. I was expecting some long beautiful explanation of what generosity is. Yet it came down to one simple line. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, when you think about it to be generous means to be willing to give. Pretty simple right?

Yes I guess it is simple but I think life complicates it. When we are all wrapped up in everything going on around us, so busy that we barely stop, do we even notice the opportunity to be generous? Lately it seems that many people are too busy to even be generous with their smiles and greetings. All the more reason for me to be generous with mine, those busy people, they need to be on the receiving end of a little generosity.
