Won-a-days! - May 7, 2006

If you haven't noticed by my writing I have stretched myself a little thin lately. Always more to do in a day than I can possibly do, yet I have so much passion for so many things it is hard to let go of any.
Well today I let go of some things......maybe only for a day, but we will see. I spent some time in my yard and noticed; the cherry blossom tree is in magnificent bloom, the three apple trees are in magnificent bloom, the pear tree is in magnificent bloom, the tulip tree is in magnificent bloom and many more soon will be. This was followed by joyful singing with about 30 people.
So easily we can fall into the trap of not stopping and actually seeing the moment in front of us. I know I have said this before but I have to remind myself again and again. It sneaks up so unexpectedly and sometimes it can go on and on. Then suddenly we realize that we need to ground ourselves, refocus and remember to breathe. To truly breathe in everything that surrounds us that we had stopped seeing and experiencing.
It's sort of like Fairies, if you don't see them for long enough they no longer exist in your world.
Ok that last line was a stretch, but I really was looking for a way to work Fairies in there.
Happy Breathing Everyone!

I do believe in fairies! I do, I do!!I noticed all the pink cherry/plum trees blooming, the lilac's are out too. The mountains look beautiful in the distance. We live in such a beautiful place - there must be fairies at work there somewhere right?
