Today was the fundraiser, it was so neat to see the kids work to make a difference in someone elses life. When I asked my son about how it went he lit up as he told me about the 8 year old boy, where and how he lived. He proudly brought home African prayer flags and described to me how they are used. What a beautiful spiritual ritual. We didn't stay to the end but I think they may have done really well in the fundraising. No matter they certainly did really well in the raising of awareness and gained the interest of my son.
