It was a busy day. Busy at work, busy at home and a ball game tonight. The work is getting done and the home stuff is now left behind for the day. Although we tell the kids it doesn't matter who wins the game they were obviously excited by their victory in the rain tonight. I just enjoyed watching the game and keeping score. It was nice relaxing time for me with some pleasant interruptions from the kids. I sat in the rain for quite awhile before I had to take cover to keep the score book from being drenched. It was very nice to feel the rain, it is starting to be that warm summer rain which can be quite enjoyable if you let go of your desire to keep dry.

Someone did a good deed for us tonight. My daughter went swimming with her friend and came home without her glasses. We got a call a little while later - the friend's dad drove all the way back to the pool to look for them - and found them! How nice that was!
