Cirque du Soleil, Miles of Flowers, I Rock.....Maybe?

Thanks to a special rocker for the continued positive support. You ROCK too! I have spoken in front of up to 250 people at a time, very seldom do I miss a beat. Today I went into a room of 25 elected officials and I shook like a leaf. I kept trying to remember; I ROCK! But my mind and body just did not cooperate.

The positive side, if I did not care so much about what I was doing and what I was saying I would not have shook. But they listened to me and when I stopped and said, "in all of my speaking over the years I have never been so nervous", they laughed and replied, "don't worry we're an intimidating bunch". That broke the ice for me and my nerves calmed, I made my presentation, and received positive feedback and questions. I think my efforts may have an impact.

Awesome! My won-a-day today was on my way home I saw what must have been about a hundred people milling around the sides of the road around Cliffe and 17th ... then I realized they were all out to plant flowers for the "mile of flowers". It's amazing to see all those people gather just to plant flowers to make our city look nice. Sure made me feel good about where I live!
