Moonbeam said...Today I went treasure hunting with my son, the treasures we were hunting were pictures with my new camera. I learned a lot today about digital photography and was at times quite ready to get out the old 35 mm with the multiple lenses and filters and forget the whole digital age.
Two times at different places I had blue herons patiently posing and waiting for me to get it together and two times I took 10 - 20 shots of a dark speck or a dark blob that I know was a blue heron. Oh well it was a beautiful time spent with my son and even though I can't show you the pictures of the blue herons one of my favorite places in the world is in the shot above.

Blue Herons posing for me all over the valley and me without a clue of how to get a good shot of them. Oh well it's lot of fun trying.
