I enjoyed talking to every vertern I saw out around today. Remembrance day is always a special day for me, a day when things seem to have built in perspective of what does and doesn't matter.

This is my favorite remembrance day poem written by my son at age 10.

Peace
Peace is a warm place in your heart
Peace is not having war
Peace is blue
Peace is blue because blue is a joyful colour

War is when the warm place in your heart dies
War is not the right way to solve problems
War is dark red
War is dark red because red is the colour of blood

War is like a dark storm
But peace is like a bright sunny day
Peace is a warm place in your heart
