Squirrel

Moonbeam said...
Well my swan is absent but has been replaced with a new facination. Believe it or not it's a squirrel. He is quite an interesting little vermon and is fun to watch. He makes giant leaps from the roof of my house into the trees, moves at an unbelievable rate through my entire yard from tree top to tree top rarely touching the ground. We have several nut trees in our yard which usually start dropping nuts in late September to early October, he however, has no intention of waiting for that. In a matter of minutes he can pull all of the nuts from a branch and drop them to the ground. I expect within a day or two he will have cleaned one tree. The odd thing is he just leaves them on the ground most of the time and just once in awhile I'll see him take off with one. Should be interesting to see what this little wonder of nature will do over the next week or two.
