In the middle of doing my taxes I found Joyfulness. It wasn't a big stretch...I walked away from the taxes and picked up my new drum. My sister had phoned from her place a few blocks away I hit the drum to see if she could hear it. My son decided this looked like great fun and began to wander the neighborhood with his walkie talkie reporting back to me the range of my drum.
Sounds simple right, well what started out as a simple little exercise ended up with me on the street in my pajamas banging on the drum as loudly as I could with people driving by looking at me like I'm a nut and the neighbor's coming out of their houses and onto their balconies to see what was going on.
The experiment was however a great success, it turns out that if I'm on the street and all of the bushes & trees are not interfering you can hear my drum for at least a kilometer. I no longer need to phone my sister I can just walk to the street with my drum and send her messages.
Well I thought it was fun & joyful! I heard from my sister that when the people were driving by her that had passed me they were laughing & smiling, I guess I'm just spreading the Joy!
