You know, I keep coming back and reading your postings and they make me cry. It's a good cry though. Bev, you are a beautiful person and I love what you're doing with this site. You really inspire me to be the person I know I am inside, but keep forgetting to be with all the fast paced stuff going on. Thank you.

I went to pick up my son from the local pool where he had been swimming with 2 friends for a couple of hours. I had arrived a little late to give him room to be behind our scheduled meeting time. After about 5 minutes of waiting I caught a glimpse of him still in the pool, he was supposed to be out dressed and ready to go 15 minutes earlier.

Inside I was fuming until I saw the look on his face. The poor kid looked like he might pass out from panic. I took a deep breath and released the anxiety I was feeling about being late for an important event. Stopped and thought about how lucky I am to have a child that is so kind, gentle and soulful. He was playing and forgot the time, no big deal...our childhood ends so quickly, play on my little one.
