A new virtue for this week, hmmm.........Friendliness.
This is a good one for me to work on, it is so easy to get so caught up in your moment that you don't even see the people around you. Like going through the check out stand, with our hectic schedules we are thinking about everywhere we've been and everywhere we need to go. Suddenly you realize that you never even made eye contact or smiled at the person standing right in front of you.
This week I will try to remember to make eye contact and smile at everyone I meet. I mean I'm standing there anyway, is it really that big a deal to be in the moment. Well yes I guess in our fast paced society sometimes it is.

My ten year old has requested a T-Shirt that says "Monday's Suck" he would like one for his best friend too.
