Activist?

What could interfere with achieving my daily goal of writing on Won-a-days? Well as I see it I have become engaged in a little bit of time consuming activism. It has been most interesting, I would never call myself an activist however after doing a little searching I find that the only word which acurately describes what I have been doing is "activist".

Activist - A person who believes in or particiaptes in direct action to make changes in government or social conditions by campaigning in public or working for an organization. This action is in support of, or opposition to, one side of a controversial argument.

In fact I would rather never have the word activist become a label attached to me or to what I do, in the past I have taken measures to ensure that I never wore that label as it can do as much harm as good, (like so most if not all labels). So without the label I would say I have been distracted by a strong desire to see positive change happen that is requiring an enormous amount of effort and research.

By the way, it is fun to be this passionate about things and that is my Won-a-day today!
